   Reiki Ryoho (healing method) is to channel the energy of the universe and an inspired healing art of Usui Sensei, not the outcome of his researches, or discovery, or re-discovery.

   Usui Mikao Sensei was from beginning to end a lay Buddhist.
   -Hyakuten Inamoto Sensei (Founder of Komyo Reiki Kai, presents Reiki as it was understood and commonly practiced in the 1930’s in Japan).

   I am a Reiki Master/Teacher and blessed to have training n both Japanese and Western Reiki.

   dont wiccans or witches work with earth energies? earth wind fire water air? sorry but reiki transcends these. reiki is spiritual those energies are earth based. reiki CAN affect those energies but as reiki transcends both time and space (like dr who) they are not in reikis league. am a reiki master practictioner and i think i understood this from level 1 – no disrespect to wicca or witchcraft but you are not understanding reiki

   it was not just the men who went after those women that were suppose to be witches. women did too. it was(is still at times) of what someone does not understand or relate to christianity is cause for fear and percieved at a threat to the only thing that person or people know. thinking outside the box was not accepted or encouraged. i am reiki and use it along side todays veterinary treatments on my horses and dogs. remember first treat yourself before trying to treat others. spirit guide you

   lol only religion and sports could offer this much controversy it is in your soul where wicca and reiki connect wicca is simply the connection to earth and goddess and god, reiki is essentially the same, in it we harm none not even ourselves we do it with permission first and with perfect love and perfect trust, and we do it for the greater good thats what we witches live for , for if it was ever truly about us none of us would pray with knowledge or ever take up the title reiki guide or witch.

   From my experience I would say that reiki is a safe, gentle and ameyzingly effective method on many kinds of physical and emotional issuess!

    Reiki attunement is just a regular healing session where the “student” attunes to the energies sent to him. The reiki symbols doesn’t work, they’re just crutches and make western people believe they have some secret way of opening up “secret energies”. Reiki is too dogmatic and religious in it’s approach. Also all attunements are the same, once you can feel qui you can help others feel qui.

    I have been a Reiki Master for years, and also a scholar, professional musician and a male witch. I also was very distracted by the spelling and grammar errors. People who care about such things will make horrible assumptions about the writer. The music seems nice to me, but Reiki is different from witchcraft.

    yes i agree with goddesswoman the word witch shouldn’t of been juxtaposed with reiki practitioners it is rather misleading and provokes a negative connotation upon reiki

    If you wanted to say that Reiki practitioners are Wise Women and Wise Men following the ancient traditional definition as someone that was a type of Shaman/healer within their tribal society, just use the words Wise Woman. That was all I was trying to say.

    And I stand by my statement that the spelling/grammatical errors are distracting. Just making constructive comments to try to make a lovely video all the more enjoyable.

    I don’t need a lesson on feminism. All I am trying to say is that the word witch in the contemporary context is that of either a sorceress or a person that practices Wicca. To imply through your video that all Reiki practitioners are Witches, is to mislead the general public.

    I don’t wanna step on anyones toes here but a “witch” is only a WISE WOMAN – this word has been translated wrong for generations . . .

    In the past “witches” were burnt alive – Not because they had Magic as we are told to believe but because they were able to heal through herbs and practices like reiki – This was a threat towards men and and their power, and the church. women were not to do anything that opposed mens superiority..

    Your video implies that all Reiki practitioners are Witches, and all Witches are Reiki practitioners. This is not true. Although I am a Reiki practitioner and Witch, most Reiki practitioners are NOT witches.

    Also, I had a hard time getting past the spelling and grammatical errors.

    Fix the errors and state at the beginning that your coven uses Reiki but not all Reiki practitioners are Witches, and I think you’ll have a lovely video.

    Nice set of Clips, but please change the Music Reiki is so Beautiful, the music is quite dark.
